Manufacturer: Pfizer
Pharmaceutical name: Sildenafil Citrate
Pack: 1 pack (4 tabs (50 mg))
Viagra ODT functions similarly to standard Viagra, with the distinction that these tablets dissolve in the mouth. Viagra (Sildenafil) relaxes muscles and enhances blood flow to specific areas of the body.
Do not take Viagra ODT if you are also using a nitrate medication for chest pain or heart issues. This includes nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, and isosorbide mononitrate. Combining Viagra ODT with a nitrate medication can lead to a rapid and serious drop in blood pressure. If you experience dizziness, nausea, or any pain, numbness, or tingling in your chest, arms, neck, or jaw during sexual activity, discontinue use and contact your doctor immediately. This could indicate a serious side effect of Viagra ODT.
Do not take Viagra ODT more than once daily. Ensure that 24 hours have passed between doses. Reach out to your doctor or seek emergency medical attention if you experience painful erection or one that lasts longer than 4 hours. Prolonged erection (priapism) can harm the penis.
Viagra ODT can limit blood flow to the optic nerve, potentially resulting in sudden vision loss. This has been reported in a small number of individuals using Viagra ODT, most of whom also suffered from heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or had pre-existing eye conditions, particularly among smokers or those over 50. It is unclear if Viagra ODT directly causes vision loss.
Cease use of Viagra ODT and seek emergency medical assistance if you encounter sudden vision loss.
To confirm your safety in taking Viagra ODT, inform your doctor if you have any of the following conditions: heart disease or rhythm issues, a recent history (within the last 6 months) of heart attack, stroke, or congestive heart failure, high or low blood pressure, coronary artery disease, liver or kidney disease, a blood cell disorder such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia; a bleeding disorder like hemophilia; a stomach ulcer; retinitis pigmentosa (a genetic eye condition); a physical penis deformity (such as Peyronie's disease); or if you have been advised against sexual intercourse for health reasons.
